Help required for a source for Womens Over-Centre shoe buckles

A friend, on behalf of her friend, has asked me to try find these type of over-centre shoe buckles.
I have enquired at a number of cobbler/shoe repair outlets and they with their suppliers. Also at the Orthotic Centre here in Auckland, all without success.
The Orthotic Centre did used to stock these but unfortunately no longer have supplies nor can source them. Instead velcro is in flavour but it is not much cop for those who have limited dexterity.

I have been informed that these buckles are known as over centre buckles. The helpful woman at the Orthotic Centre tells me they are called 'Chad' buckles(?)
This particular example is for a 19mm (3/4") strap.
Hopefully someone knows of these and can point me in the right direction.

Here are edited sequential images sent to me showing the action of the shoe buckle.

Bump. Does anyone know of these buckles? Where they might be sourced from?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide

These are also sometimes called cam buckles. They are like the buckles found on ski boots. You might be able to access them through a shoemaker or shoe repair shop. I was not able to find a good on-line resource for them in the USA.

Have you tried Strapworks? I looked under their Metal Hardware section and found a few things that looked similar. Strapworks is also very helpful; perhaps writing them an email with the pictures would provide a few good leads, too.

Another company I know of is BatzUSA. I have a friend who has well-reviewed the Alu-MAX buckle for use with very limited hand function / hand strength, and a few other Specialty buckles look similar to your existing buckle on the shoes. I'm sure BatzUSA could be reached via email as well to look at your photos and make a recommendation.

    I hope that helps!

Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.
