I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

Bunch in Ontario here where your money is worth more:

    $200 for Aquatec - http://www.kijiji.ca/v-health-specia...ift/1259471245

    $75 for Aquatec heavy duty - http://www.kijiji.ca/v-health-specia...ationFlag=true

$400 for Belavita bath lift (the same practically) - http://www.kijiji.ca/v-health-specia...ationFlag=true

Not sure if you can access those Canadian sites. Or try ebay?

If it can get my 32yr paralyzed fart butt off the floor, it can get anyone's. LOL

*Forgot to add my caveat ... make sure it's against a wall when trying to get back in your chair. They can be a little tippy, unless someone holds it for you.

I had wondered about going camping again with one of these things but would have to ground it or stabilize it somehow. Looked at all the equipment and everything .. little nervous as a single ole gal going camping on my own though.

And they are light. I could lift and carry it around ... maybe good for travelling too.
