    frogs legs castors

Hey, i bought a new chair from RGK and it came with 3 spoke red aluminium castors, but to me the rubber doesnt seem very thick and feel they arent soft rolls thats even if they are frogs legs castors, how do you tell if you have genuine frogs legs? they might just be a rip off version, is there a big difference between FL and other aluminium castors?

FrogLegs do make "court" castors which are hard and unforgiving, very much the opposite of soft-rolls. These could be those?

i duno, they are a little bit soft not really hard rubber, but they seem too thin of a profile to be soft rolls, i could be wrong but

For what it's worth, it does look like a Frog Leg caster.
And I don't know how contacting them would help. Considering I hate the phone, I know I wouldn't call.

I'd send FL an email with your pic attached, and ask them if RGK is providing real FrogLegs or a knockoff. If RGK be advertising a knockoff as a FL caster, I'm sure FL would want to know to protect their brand integrity.

Yes there is a difference between Aluminum Hub casters. I ordered TiLite AH Performance Casters with my TR3 a year ago presuming they'd be as good as FL; TiLite's AH SoftRolls are junk compared to FL (I can provide details upon request).
