Listened to an audio book on a recent road trip

Recently did a road trip from N. California to S. California to tour the Reagan Library. On the way to So Cal and return, listened to the audio book, The Great Bridge, about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. Highly recommend.

My husband raved about that book. I'll have to check it out "some day". In recent past read autobiography by Brian Cranston the actor in Breaking Bad series, and it was surprisingly good. Currently struggling through For Whom the Bell Tolls, as saw it has been called Hemmingway's best. Lots of dialog, but very well done dialog in-between men drinking and arguing and plotting to resist fascism any way possible. Yes, a love story, it's been said, but took about 125 pages, and life and love is fragile in times of civil war in Spain.
