Thread: Would someone be able to identify this allen bolt/screw?

Question Would someone be able to identify this allen bolt/screw?

Also would you know what thread size it is? I noticed it's missing from my Tilite Aero T wheelchair.

Check out the parts manuals on the TiLite website. They list the thread sizes of the hardware they use

It's not identified in the manual, but think it's same as #13 . . .

That's a tiny screw, can't believe that size screw would be on a wheelchair.

I would go to a smaller hardware store and they will help you find the correct screw. It's pretty easy for them especially when they can actually see it

Have you contacted Tilite, I have had similar situations with other manufacturers which resulted in them putting a envelope in the mail promptly with the bolt.

Bwahahaha. From recent and past accounts, you would be lucky if they bothered talking to you. Standard canned response of "talk to your DME provider". Then if you did manage to get an order in for that screw...it would be $45.00/ea.

Alternately...check out www.mcmaster.com for all your fastener needs.

10-32 is a very common screw, and available at the big box stores, although button head might pose a problem.
