Traveling to Costa Rica w/ t4 18 month old son

any tips for traveling? Any things that are wheelchair accessible, or suggestions of things to do with him? It is our first trip with him and we are a bit nervous!

Where in Costa Rica? Business or a vacation? It is a beautiful country, and there is good medical care available, although primarily in the bigger cities like San Jose. San Jose is up in the mountains, so cooler. The coast can be very hot, which may be an issue if he does not sweat below his level of injury, so be sure to take something to provide extra cooling like a battery powered fan and spray bottle of water. For you, the anthropology museum in San Jose is very good, but probably not much to offer an 18 mo. old. You may be able to see some great butterflies, and there are often tree sloths visible in the trees, even in city parks. Lots of vendors who will charge you money to have your picture taken with parrots or iguanas too. Sorry I can't comment more on activities appropriate for toddlers.

We will be on the coast, close to Liberia.

He he is starting to sweat more, but still not too much below the injury, except under the knee caps. Will the sweating above injury provide some cooling effect? He sweats under armpits, head, neck, and most recently started to sweat down his back. We have a sprey bottle. Is there a sort of acceptable temperature ppl with SCI injury can reach in heat?

we are very active, so I guess maybe more of outside things we can do or paths we can take that are wheelchair accessible.
