    Astonishing powerchair!

I don't know how this link will appear but you have to see this video. It shows a powerchair that converts to standing, laying completely flat and raises and lowers a person while flat and performs therapeutic movement. It's astonishing. I can't imagine any insurance paying but still, wow.

I am right in the midst of trying to get a new chair and this seems perfect. I have found nothing else that can truly get fully upright like this appears to do (other than my Balder, which was a support nightmare. Have those gotten any better supported in the US?).

Has anyone found any more information on US purchase, distribution, support?

Yes, but look at the seat to back angle. I don’t feel fully weight-bearing in the permobil. I think that was my conclusion from years past. I felt that way this time too, but I’ve been horizontal for a long time, so my posture is challenged, and so my assessment is not similar. But to me it’s important to be really fully weight- bearing, positioned as if you could attend easily to something on a tray in front of you. I’m having trouble explaining the feeling. Your knees are straight and your weight is maybe even slightly forward.

Does anyone know what I’m trying to say and if there’s a word for it,

… But I get no answer at the US number. Anyone know if they still exist? I will try emailing.
