    Patient lift rental, Miami

Hi, I will be visiting Miami the end of January for 4 days. I thought that rather then travel with my lift, if possible I'd look to rent one for my visit. Does anyone know of such a place in Miami that would deliver to/from a hotel?

Check with concierge or front desk manager 1st sometimes they deal with specific DMEs and based on the hotel and referrals they sometimes offer lower rates.

If not seems to be a lot of places so check around for best cost and service.

Just returned from my stay at the Gale Hotel. Overall it was a very nice hotel, conveniently located. The room itself worked well, with my biggest issue when looking at where to stay is being able to find hotels that do not use platform style beds. This particular bed had ample space to accommodate a lift, so it worked out well. The bathroom was pretty sizeable and had a roll-in shower. My only "issue" is that the ramp to access the hotel is actually the delivery ramp on the side of the building, that brings you into the basement of the hotel. I imagine because it is an older building that they did not want to add a ramp in the front, although there were several places where doing so would not have been an eye-sore (such as a ramp to the outdoor dining area, which was not accessible). But again, a very nice hotel that I would not hesitate to stay in again.

I'm glad the Gale worked for you. I understand what you are saying about the ramp. But it works. We are staying there again in late February.
