    More stem cell hope?

    Distinguished looking doctor, check.
Fawning supplicants surrounding him in video, check.
Pitiful initial quad video, than a happy quad eating in the next, check.

Doubling the dosage has gotta make it even better, right? Not that all test subjects are under 30 days post, skewing initial injury return results.

I don't know much about the latest "research"...anyone know more about this?

Dr. Richard Fessler is a Neurosurgeon who was involved with the Geron ( 'memba them? ) stem cell clinical trials while on faculty at Northwestern. He's now with Rush.

This is done by Asterias and the patient that is on the video is the only one that got 10 million cells. This was covered in another thread in the last few weeks. Asterias' record is very good so far and they want to increase the cells in the future probably to 20 million cells. I believe this is the first one or one of the first ones that are injected to the cervical patients.
