    Red spots from FES electrodes

I've been getting small (~1-3 mm) red spots under or at the edges of FES electrodes using my Sage 7, RT300 FES bike. Any ideas how to prevent these? Should I put goop under them or try a different brand?

    Thanks.

I know soap & water pre workout is recommended. Anything else? I'm thinking I should shave the electrode areas to get better and more uniform electrode adhesion.

Skin Prep is stuff you put on your skin that's a protective coating. Guys that wear self adhering condom catheters use it. Liquid Skin is a form of it.

doesn't scan prep create a barrier layer that probably is a poor conductor?

My legs are shaved where the pads go and I still get red spots. We just use Sudocreme on them and move the pads for a while. The new areas we have moved them to don't seem to damage as easily which is strange.

I wonder if the frequency affects it. I'm running around 62 Hz right now but used to run 47 Hz.

For those who've moved them, to where did you move them?

Mrb where are your new locations?
