    Self Closed Kits Dry Out

I have been using Bard Touchless Plus Pre-Lubricated kits for a while now. Seems lately more and more seem to be too dry or not contain enough lubrication to pass. I would say 2/5 are that way and I often use lube with it to make it work, which is kind of defeating the purpose of them. As anyone has this problem??

I used to use the pre-lubed kits. Never had any drying problems as you describe, but once I switched to hydrophilic kits, I never went back to the pre-lubed. If you have an opportunity, try one. You will be amazed at the difference.

I will give it a shot. Any specific brand you use? Thanks!

Try the Mentor/Coloplast variety. Much less flimsy than the others, and never had any lube issues with them

I use the LoFric Primo. They come with a water pouch and are fairly easy to prep and very easy to insert, even if you have limited hand function. Click here for more details.
