    Hands behind back of head

    should everyone be able to do that? c3/c4 quad and can't even come close but at the same time I rarely do RoM.

    Do you mean active movement into that position, or passive ROM?

    Regular shoulder ROM is a must for everyone with a tetraplegic injury, esp. within the range that you have any muscle power (or could get return) such as shoulder abduction and external rotation. Adhesive capsulitis, the precursor of shoulder joint contractures) due to incorrect positioning and lack of ROM exercises is also a leading cause of shoulder pain in those with tetraplegia.

    I thought so but someone didn't believe me. So I guess I better start getting them loose again.
