Myrtle Beach Boardwalk http://www.visitmyrtlebeach.com/thin...ons/boardwalk/ is accessible, basically runs along the beach from one pier to another. Pier are about $2 dollars for ABs, those in the wheelchair are free, at least I never had to pay. There are restaurants on piers with available outside sitting areas. Gift shops, bars, grills, restaurants and other attractions(attraction mostly for kids) concentrated between 9th-12th Avenues. There is a SkyWheel that looks cool but have not been on it yet, website states it is wheelchair accessible.

Broadway at the Beach http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/ wheelchair accessible, lots of shopping, restaurants and other attractions. Been to Ripley's Aquarium, was nice. Could probably spend all day in this area, depending on what you are into.

The new favorite is Prince Resort, 3500 N Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 http://www.princeresortonline.com/ Room #1737, accessible.

Stayed mostly at the The Horizon at 77th, 215 77th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com/ most rooms have a large enough restrooms that work for my manual wheelchair.

Long ago was the Yachtsman Resort Hotel, 1304 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 http://www.yachtsman.com/ stayed in none accessible rooms, restrooms a bit tight but managed to make it work, location is great.

There been few other but cant think of them this minute.

Thanks for sharing. My wife and I were in N. Carolina and S. Carolina the end of March. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to post. While in S. Carolina we did go out and see FT. Sumter. Right now they're working on the elevator so one can get up to the gift shop. You would also get a much better view of the surroundings. We also went to the Magnolia Plantation. They had a tour train that had a ramp so that I could get on one of the cars. They also had a petting zoo and a great floral garden that was readily accessible.

    Handicapped Accessibility
    http://www.cityofmyrtlebeach.com/handicapped.html

The City of Myrtle Beach is committed to accessibility for our residents and visitors with disabilities. The following information will be helpful in your travels around the city.
    Beach-Going Wheelchairs
Myrtle Beach has a number of beach-going wheelchairs available for use at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. The chairs are equipped with balloon tires and safety belts for people with disabilities. To acquire the use of one these wheelchairs, contact the Police Department communications desk at 843-918-1382. Wheelchairs will be delivered to (and picked up from) your location by our community service officers between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Use of the chairs is free, but we do require a photo identification. Wheelchairs are not available after 5:00 p.m. Note that all chairs may be in use at some times.
    Parking and Parking Meters
In South Carolina, any vehicle displaying a valid handicapped, Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans or Medal of Honor license tag, or a valid and official handicapped hang tag, may park for free at any public-operated parking meter. If your vehicle displays one of these, then you do not have to pay a municipal parking meter anywhere in South Carolina. Of course, city buildings have designated handicapped parking spaces.
    Accessible Beach Access Points
Myrtle Beach has 42 public beach access points (street ends, parks and other access points) that are accessible in varying degrees to people with physical disabilities. Here is the list of those public locations, from south to north.
