Dr. Wise or others Comments on MRI scan for syrinx

I have been having an increase in spasticity, which may be due to a lower back problem that I have been experiencing, but I thought that it would be wise to rule out a syrinx as a possible root cause of my problems, and the neurosurgeon that I was seeing agreed. I have posted an image of the MRI scan with the T2 hyper intensity at c1-c2, my original injury site. It has been six years since my injury, and this is the first scan of the site since then. What do you think about the scan? Thank you for your time.
