    Educating my dumb TV

My 1991 25? ProScanhas always served me loyally. We decided we didn?t care much if we did not riseto the occasion of the widescreen transition. But does anyone know if there?sany way to get it to play programming from my computer, or hook it into Amazonprime? Could I get Netflix?

Treat yourself to a new TV Random, they're now so cheap it's not worth trying to modify ol' faithful.

You can buy a wifi smart DVD player that will get netflix, youtube, hulu, web browser, etc., etc for 50 - 60 bucks. Just be sure you get one with RCA connectors for you old TV, or you may have to buy a HDMI to RCA cable.

If your TV has an HDMI input, you can get Roku or Chromecast to add to it. I am assuming that you have a wireless network in your home. I have no problem watching movies and TV shows using Amazon prime straight through my computer.
