On Thursday March 17th, more than 60 Society for Neuroscience members rallied together for the 10th annual successful Capitol Hill Day. Members participated in meetings with legislators and staff from many states to advocate on behalf of scientific research.

SfN provides neuroscientists with a unified voice on legislative and regulatory issues in Washington, DC, and facilitates member visits to Capitol Hill or local District offices to discuss issues important to the scientific community. It also promotes public information about the nature of scientific discovery (including the responsible use of animals in research) and the results and implications of the latest neuroscience research for public policy, societal benefit, and continued scientific progress.
