Free sodas, coffee and we have ping pong and Xbox. However we keep base salaries low and bonus people based on their contribution to the success of the fund (plus with that arrangement you can redirect up to 100% of your bonus into a 409A deferred comp plan to avoid our onerous tax system).

    Still sound like communism

I think that the mouth breathing/sniffling was what did the trick for me! It seems like there's always someone with a cold in those kinds of offices...luckily I'm out and never going back!

    Fewer better keys are better

I have 2 HHKB Pro 2s. http://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/hhkeyboard/ One at home and one at work. The capacitive Pro 2 http://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/hhkeyboard/hhkbpro2/, however may not be USB compliant. If 5V drops low it stops working. The Lite http://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/hhkeyboard/lite2/ use normal membrane key switch. I purchased mine from https://elitekeyboards.com/products....2&pid=pdkb400w.
