    stuck

    have a 95 gmc full sized van new battery 2 yrs old never a hint of problem new llast 2 yr alternator get in van to go to store click everything goes dead

    stuck in van call friend will not even try to chsrge so end up call 911 the send ambulance they have to lift me out so dam frustrating so doors are open we tape platic over switches as its gonna rain tonitght and no one will come out

    You're safe now, though?

    Yeah, that's a bummer deal. Go through the manual and check the fuses under the dash or under the hood or both if the van has them in several locations. Might have to have someone that knows how to check them do it. Could be a relay... could even just be a loose wire.

    oh yes I call my neighbor and the the guys picked me up put me in a chair then got my chair down there has got to be a way to manually opeate the lift

    but it is the battery as nothing is working and itw great till I turned the key plenty of juice one dam thing after another my van is $$$$ me this year

    isn't there a hole on top to stick a crank in to manually work the lift?? mine has one

    I had a Crow River lift on my first van. It had a great way to exit if the lift would not work. it came with a cordless electric drill with a hex head key/wrench in it. To run the lift down there was an opening to the back of the motor shaft with a hex head socket. All you had to do was connect with the drill and run the lift down. you just had to keep the drill charged at all times. It was a great lift.
