Why not let kids learn about sex on the internet?

as a kid I learned about sex LONG from friends and playboy magazines LONG before my parents had the "penis goes into the vagina" talk with me. why not just let them figure it out from the internet? it's not rocket science. it is what it is

Sad if you want your kids believing loving relations between 2 people is the same as internet porn.

I think they wouldn't know what to make of it and probably scare the shit...there's some really "violent" internet porn out there. ))
and would ruin all the fantasy, take the "magic" away

And if I'd have a young daughter I wouldn't want her to think that filling all her halls with three men at a time is normal

I never had "the talk" with my parents, but I did have basic sexuality education provided through my school and my church youth group, and learned a LOT about reproduction from reading my mother's OB/GYN nursing textbook! Regardless, I think children do much better and learn much healthier and functional attitude and behaviors related to sexuality if they get this information in a straightforward way from their parents and teachers. Porn is an awful way to learn, as so much of it depersonalizes sexuality, objectifies women, and caters to those who need to include violence and degradation in their sexual fantasy (or reality) life.
