    Loosening tight fingers

    I would like to try to loosen my tight fingers, but not sure at this point if it is even possible (they've been tight for the last 15 yrs), or the what the best way to go about it is. The fingers would need to be stretched, and the upper knuckles need to be bent.

    Well whatever I did is apparently a lesson in what you SHOULDN'T do! After some gentle stretching by my attendant, my fingers are swollen.

    You should see a good hand therapist or OT who can determine if you actually can be stretched out well, the teach you and your attendant methods for doing so that are safe, it it can.
