    That's a bummer. I am still confused at their purpose. I did read a comment TiLite posted about them, but it didn't really clarify things.

    I've experienced the flex with all my wheels and I've never used side guards. The rubbing would be on the back posts. I adjusted the wheels so they stick out 1.5 inches away from the back posts and the rear wheels haven't rubbed since.

    Dang added an extra 3" of width to your chair? Usually an inch alone is the difference between whether I fit into a doorway or not :/
