ramps just arent quad friendly, I could not get up any of them, if I could it would be a struggle under perfect conditions, no way in rain and snow and mini vans are to small.

Nice. Thank you both for making and sharing the video.
Partner of an incredible stroke survivor. Limitations: hemiparesis and neglect (functional paralysis and complete lack of awareness on one side). Equipment: TiLite ZRA 2 and 2GX, Spinergy ZX-1, RioMobility Firefly. Knowledge: relative newbie for high-level equipment (2012), but willing to try to help others who are new with similar limitations (definitely not a guru, but inquisitive).

sure thing. it was annalisa's idea to do vid. reason being when we started our info garthering there were very few full size gimp van vids, just tons of minis and neither of us wanted one of those.

Looks nice. I just wished they made lifts that moves faster. I have to disagree with you about the hand controls. I used mpd's for over 15 years and now have Suregrips on both my vehicles. I'll never go back to mpd's. For me, they're just easier to use. In the end it's a personal preference.

A ramp on a full size van would have to be 10 ft long because of the height of the floor. Minivans have lowered floors with kneeling features that allows manufacturers to get away with a 3 ft ramp. Some full size vans do have lowered floors, but not to that extent.

With them stop making the ford E150......not much choice rather than a minivan now. Raise tops are a pain to get around in....seen a lot of them get torn off trying to get in hospital parking garages and the likes. The fords you could lower the floor and still get in a 7 foot door.
