Thread: Hydraulic brake for handcycle

    Thanks guys, I changed out the pads on the Avid that'll last me thru the winter. In the meantime, I''l check the info on both styles and make a decision by Spring. My main concern was the line breaking from the constant back and forth motion on the cranks.

    Modern bike hydro line is TOUGH stuff!

    Hard to even cut

    Take a look at the rear brake cabling on a full suspension mtb, the way the rear moves means that the hose is flexing all the time and it is not an issue. I would not worry about it.
