    Recurring Pain

I had a C5 injury 15 years ago and recovered pretty well until recently. I have been taking 1800 mg of Gabapentin for pain which has kept my pain bearable. Recently I have had a sharp uptick in neuropathic pain. Severe burning in my legs at night when I try to get to sleep. Is it common so many years after an injury to get an increase in pain and is there anything I can do about it short of increasing the Gabapentin or switching to Lyraca. I haven't found Lyrica all that helpful in the past.
