    Legs are tight

Most recently, my legs have been feeling tight. When I'm on my back or stomach my legs are stiff. Could I still have flexibility and be developing a contracture too. And are there any ROM I can do or should I see a physical therapist. What do you guys do to stay loose?

You probably should see a PT to get a set of ROM and other stretching exercises. I am surprised that you were not given these tools in rehab as they are so important. To give them here without having your history and diagnosis would be irresponsible. --eak

I use a hot tub and stretch out in it, especially hamstrings, it helps out a lot. I generally do this after riding my FES bike.

Have you check for AD? Any health problems? Could be your bodies way of telling you something is wrong. Just be real careful with the ROM. Broke my femur forcing an exercise I was given.

You need to be seen by your SCI doc. Increasing spasticity and tone can be a sign that something else is going on. It could be nothing, but better safe than sorry. Also, I would not give you any recommendations for exercises or ROM without knowing your history and evaluating you. You should get a script for PT from your doc.

At her level of injury and given the number of years she has been injured, standing without a physician veal is not a good idea. Please see your doctor and see what they say.
