    Tens ?

I am a t1011 3 months on now. I really appreciate all of this useful information. I have a tens unit at home should I be using it and if so how often. When I was at harmarville I rode the fes bike but I am assuming the tens is not as good. Thank you

Were you taught how to use the TENS unit? It is not as effective as using the FES bike but it has benefits. You need to know how to place the electrodes and program the unit.

It wil not provide any cardio benefits but will stimulate the muscles. Get with at therapist to discuss how this may benefit you. They can also make sure you know how to use the unit.--eak

No I just put it on the muscles. Thanks for the reply I'll try to talk to a therapist about it.
