'Chaz19' and his real name escapes me at the moment ... but he and his father were heavily involved in research funding when they first found this website - if I remember correctly.

I think the excitement buttons on all of us are worn out as they've been pressed far too often for naught.

Dealing with this as a quadriplegic has to be hell. Especially with the 'false starts' of hope etc. What I'm saying is Chaz19's one of the good guys.

Everything moves so slow. Just realized I spelled Frustrating wrong in my original post, lol. Spelling never was one of my strong points.

    Hey Lynnifer,

Yes. Same guy, but weathered by time and false hope. We go back to the Senator Call-in Days and the first SCI rallies. I remember all your support.
I miss Leo and always admire his willingness to question. If I had 5% of his courage- i would have inner peace.

I'm still involved in advocacy work. Yes and quadriplegia is hell.

Real name is Chaz well Charles/Charlie depending on context.

.. and you're one of the good girls :-)

We should wonder how we could have done a better job as cure advocates and set better directions for the future advocacy work. I see people repeating mistakes of the past like raising money for researchers assuming they are doing research aiming at getting us out of w/c while this is not always the case...
