    London & Paris airport transportation

Hi, I've been researching for a trip to London/Paris for Summer '16, and thus far think I've been able to locate hotels in each city. My question is how does one arrange transportation (for power wheelchair) to/from the hotels?

In London most taxis are wheelchair accessible BUT check your height in the chair, I'm 1.45m and too tall to fit into a London cab in my power chair. Try googling "London wheelchair taxis" for other options.

In Paris you can book an accessible cab to go everywhere: Taxis G7 "horizon", they are nice and professionnals.

I'm finding planning a trip to Europe is much more daunting then I expected. Just when I thought I found accommodations in both cities that had clearance under the bed for my lift, and had accessible bathrooms, I then learned (thankfully sooner, rather then later) that the lifts/elevators may not accommodate my wheelchair.

Most hotels will be able to offer bed raising feet, alternately check out the Ceiling track hotel website http://www.chuc.org.uk it would save you bringing a hoist. We've found that most hotels will do what we ask but have never had to request a bigger elevator : -)

I think more of the ibis hotels are accessible, recently rebuilt with enough space in the bedroom or in the elevators to accomodate an electric wheelchair.

In London some underground stations are accesible - see http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms...-guide-map.pdf Heathrow and
several stations in London are accessible.
Almost all London and Paris buses have ramps (and most of the time they work. We have been all over both cities by bus -
The Paris Metro is not accessible but the RER lines for the lost part are

Google maps knows transport in both cities well -
In London you can get a bus map at Victoria station

I am in a manual chair but I don't think an electric chair would be very diferent
