Thread: Changing to Night Bag for Foley

    Re read what zagam has said, you will not reflux with the night bag attached. You WILL REFLUX if just the leg bag is attached as it has no anti-reflux chamber to avoid it. That being said if you can get the leg bag on the floor for proper drainage and the bag doesn't get overfull. And travel up into the tube during the night then i believe you should be ok. If any of this happens then you need to switch to a night bag at night.

    Janne- if your leg bag can hold 750 ml and not bust open, your ultrasound are normal and few UTIs - sounds okay to me

    Califanna - if it is working for you fine. Make sure you get ultrasounds annually and get the bladder pressures and volumes check on your bladder.
