Does medical insurance cover vehicle conversion?

I saw a post about this but it was short on details. Anyone have experience with this? What did they cover, etc? Thanks

I am not aware of medical insurance covering van conversions. It would have to be some super platinum policy. It is hard enough to get many of the insurances to cover a decent wheelchair. Conversions are a legitimate medical deduction on federal income tax.

Other than the VA and worker's comp, I would be very surprised if any insurer covered this.
