    If I recall correctly, I believe they use a battery back up in case the voltage dies.

    AI, does the 2010 Ford E150 have electric power steering. My wife would love to have an adjustment to make steering slightly easier. We also have a 2003 Ford E250 and the steering seems easier for her - the 2003 may have a slightly larger steering wheel diameter.

    All E series Ford vans have hydraulic power steering and can be easily modified.

    You maybe right about the steering wheel diameter and also as i recall the steering wheel/ steering column angle and height were a little different.

    Changes in the height and angle made a big difference for some people especially when driving from a wheelchair.
