    core muscles pulling HARD

I'm c6-7. manual chair. baclofen pump. My right lower back had a ''pop'' 2 years ago, which occurred as I was letting my left leg down. I went to a chiropractor a week later... really not sure what to do. MISTAKE. It made a middle area of my spine unstable. My core was pretty good until then. For 3 months, I was not getting better, but couldn't sit right.. hurt. Had mri. Everything fine dr. said. Went to chiropractor again. ANOTHER MISTAKE. It pulled something. I really was not sure what to do this whole time.

Went to PT a year ago. Put me in RIDE Custom cushion and jay3 back. from 19 years sitting on quad roho and sling back. I've been in it 8 months. She said give it 12 weeks. I've always had problems with left ischial area sores. My main goal going to her was to straighten my posture/back and avoid sores.

Now, my core muscles are pulling clear to the left HARD. There is about a 5 inch gap between my left hip bone to ribs... and less than an inch on the right. I'm constantly trying to push my left side in. I loosen up some during the day, but wake up TIGHT. Have to rub my thighs and shake my arms for 30 minutes just to move. Groundhog day..over and over.

Started swimming and tie ankles up.. do the backstroke for 30 minutes. I LOVE SWIMMING, but the core pulling/tightness is getting worse.. the next couple of days after especially.

Am I completely screwed? This pulling is out of control. Is there anything a quad can do for that area? My PT told me to stiffen up and crush the area... for stability. That's just made my spine clear out of alignment.

If I had a detached ligament.. do they do surgeries on quads?

Have you had an MRI of your entire spine? You need to see what is going on
when you say unstable- that means there is a fracture of the vertebrae and they aren't fused together any longer. Is that what happened?
I would suggest seeing an SCI specialist - most likely ortho spine specialist and see what is going on and specialist who specializes in SCI and seating.

Any chance hip joint issue? I have one dislocated hip, I have sensation and never felt any pain there and still don't, but think it has had effect on my posture.
