Has any one used this tire before? Something similar to marathon plus, how many psi needed?

I would love a compare as well, I am guessing I will be the one to do so soon. The Primo Sentinel is a 100 PSI tire vs. the 145 of the MP. I am told that the Sentinel has a little less thickness in their anti-puncture lining, so maybe, just maybe it can compete with the older Marathon Plus, at least I am hoping.

Last time I have a primo passage, I run on 80psi, it roll very well, though with a lot of tread.

Were you able to compare that tire to the Marathon Plus?

Agree with Brian the Schwalbe marathon plus by far superior tires. Also has smart guard technology flat resistant

Actually that isn't how I feel, anymore. Schwalbe changed the Marathon Plus and it is no longer the great tire it once was. I am considering the Sentinel as my next tire. My current TiLite TR came with the newer MP's. My previous two TR's came with the older MP's and they were excellent. When I received my new chair it would't roll; I took my worn out tires from my old chair and installed them, problem solved.

The Sentinel has their version of the smart guard also.

I think is two different kind of tire, no smart guard for primo passage.
I find the new 440 version of MP also not rolling quite well compare to the old 348 version.
