    Question monoskis for quads?

While I don't have an sci I have a neurological disorder that currently has me at a high functioning quadriplegic level. My grip is ok, my arms at at 30-40% of normal. I have a 15 year old Yeti, and the last few years it is getting much harder for me to push myself on flats, raise myself up to get on the lift, and right myself if I crash. It occurred to me that perhaps newer monoskis are lighter in weight and might make it possible for me to ski for a few more years? Is that the case?

Sit ski rigs for the most part do not seem to be getting much lighter. Not sure how much your Yeti weighs, but most are in the 25-35lbs range.
