    Penis Scrotum Pain

My son has been experiencing a lot of pain to the touch, re positioning legs and by the rectum with bp.
He is not a complainer so I am very concerned.
    Tested for a UTI...none.
    Headed to a urologist tomorrow.
    Any suggestions???

I believe we went this route once before and did not get anywhere.
    Any help would be appreciated

A couple of possibilities are hemorrhoids or prostatitis. It is very difficult to get a conclusive diagnosis for prostatitis.

    He does have hemorrhoids.
How do your surmise if they are the cause?
What would the treatment for either of the above be?

For the hemorrhoids some SCIs apply Lidocaine ointment to the area before doing the bp. It is a topical anesthetic. I think both prescription and over-the-counter versions are available. As for prostatitis, treatments include antibiotics and NSAIDS. IMO diagnosis and treatment are a guessing game.
