    Camping pictures needed- Please read

    Hi Friends,
I'll be traveling to Las Vegas November 9th-14th to promote the need for wheelchair accessible RV's at the RV Dealer association convention. Most dealers do not feel there is a market for wheelchair accessible RV's/campers because "wheelers' don't get out and camp. I would like to prove them wrong. I'm creating an album to take with pics of wheelers out enjoying the outdoors as it relates to camping and rving. If you have any pics that could lend in this area please email them to me at Sabrina@rvingaccessibility.org
I would really like to make an impact during this show and would appreciate any pics that you don't mind sharing. I'll only be using them in a photo album to display at my booth during the exhibitor show.

    Thanks for your help

If I'd had some more advance notice I think I could have gotten you a pic that coulda worked. It wasn't my camera or RV, but I was there.

I'm glad you have taken on this project, thank you. The least they can do is to make it so that retroifitters can adapt the RVs quicker. It seems to me they are missing a market and I am sure you will tell them so.
I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

Yes. They are missing out on the spending power of the aging and disabled population. I'm going to do my best to convince them Thanks for the reply!

I'd like someone to build a pop-top trailer with a wide enough door!
And while they were at it, it wouldn't be a huge engineering problem to let it kneel so it was almost flat on the ground.
If they'd do the wide door, I could handle the kneeling myself.
I know you can't move hardly at all inside, but it would be so much better than nothing!

Here is my contribution. He is a CC member, Steve Garro. We are camped, enjoying dinner, and watching the sunset at the edge of the Colorado River at the start of the Grand Canyon.

There definitely was more accessible options back a few years, and a couple mpre of MH mfg'ers tried some over the years, but most dropped them after a year or two, gonna be tough to get them back into it, but it's worth a try.

edit: and there are people out there with big money buying adapted MH's. The previous owner of mine bought a new 4 slide 42ft Country Coach and was having it custom done. When we were in Key West, a new American Dream 4 slide 40ft was by us, I toured inside that and visited with the guy, holy crap, made ours look run of the mill. He also had a custom shop do the mods.
