    Smile Thankful

In the spirit of Thanksgiving (Canada's a bit earlier than the US) and following family tradition, my list of things I am thankful for this year.
    • my wife
    • my friends that keep sticking around
    • kicking the c.diff bug to the curb
    • that I continue to be able to breath on my own
    • that, other than one UTI, c.diff and a (selfinflicted) wound on my foot, it was a year of pretty good health
    • the unexpectedly nice fall weather
    • and the turkey I will be enjoying later today with my friends and family

    Happy Thanksgiving

Was alone for this one - didn't hear from any family at all. Didn't have enough money to make a turkey dinner with trimmings (and no sense when I'm by myself). Was feeling pretty down, but ended up with an excellent turkey dinner from a neighbour up on the fifth floor. A friend, Andrew, brought over popcorn and candied apples to watch the Walking Dead Season 5 premiere with me, so it turned out very well.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.
