Honda Element - Looking for pic of how handcontrols are mounted

    Hello,

Anyone have any pics of how hand controls are mounted on a Honda Element? Specifically how the controls are mounted to the steering column or whatever. I will probably use Monarch controls.

    Thanks

Those look like MPD controls in that pic. And they also look like they would hit ones leg to me.

    Thanks Chasmengr,

Never thought to do a image search. But....still looking for pics showing how the mounting works. Really need to know what mounting brackets are used. I am thinking about purchasing a used set and would like to buy one with the brackets needed.

    BTW,

Talked to two different shops about installing my current controls, both came back about the same price, but one shop's quote was 75% parts and 25% labor, the other shop was 25% parts and 75% labor, go figure.

The pic to which I linked (not attached) shows the column a bit better, but the covers are in place, so the brackets are hidden. I didn't search very long; you might be able to find better pics out there.

Buy the parts from shop B, get the labor done at shop A, and only pay 50%
