Your top tips for a T4 going to Hawaii Oahu Waikiki beach

I'm going to Oahu in a week!!! for a week!

Looking forward to first vacation in years and years.

Really interested to hear any top tips anyone has for businesses and outside activities you can recommend for a T4 para, on Oahu.

    Renting canoes kayaks etc

Scuba gear if I get the chance!

And anything anyone had a good experience with while on the Island.

Or what things you didn't have a good experience with and to steer clear of.

Thanks for any input or ideas.

The Bus is wheelchair accessible. A good way to get around in Honolulu.

Honolulu Aquarium (south end of Waikiki beach) is accessible and a nice visit.

Bishop Museum is also mostly accessible (with a few areas that are not).

Very touristy, but the evening show at the Polynesian Cultural Center is good for an evening event. There are bus tours that are accessible that will take you there from Honolulu.

I forgot to say to go into the lobby of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and see the spectacular flower arrangements they have throughout the lobby/first floor area. They have a wheelchair accessible toilet too. Then go out to their outside bar area (right on the beach) and have an expensive cocktail (best is if comes with a little umbrella or live flower!!!). This is the best view on Waikiki beach of the beach and Diamond Head.

Like KLD said, the bus is great way to get around. I also booked a couple of tours with Roberts Hawaii to visit Pearl Harbour, National Cem etc

I hope you also get to get in the water, I think that seems more of what you want to do. Hit up the kayak and dive operations, they're probably going to be able to facilitate and get you where you want to be. Don't ask, don't get!
    Have a blast
