Can the Damaged Brain Repair Itself?

After a traumatic brain injury, it sometimes happens that the brain can repair itself, building new brain cells to replace damaged ones. But the repair doesn't happen quickly enough....

The process can be sped up remarkably with the use of magnetic therapy. Have witnessed first hand. The reason is because the brain has an enormous blood supply which also contains stem cells for repair. The spinal cord has very little blood supply as a contrast. The magnetic beam if focused on the brain which attacks more stem cells to the area of the beam, swelling is reduced very quickly which lessens the damage from necrosis if the magnetic therapy is done within days/weeks of injury. Saw paralysis significantly reduced on a stroke patient after 4-500 hours of magnetic therapy.

Look into the "Neuroplasticity of the Brain" books and articles. I have been studying this and have found that techniques to assist in retraining your brain are not easy to find for free and that you can do on your own.

I have some ideas about systems that could be developed on computers or Androids that could do great things for many people. More on this later.
