Thread: catheter keeps getting blocked

  1. #41
If the catheter is blocked, nothing will help. You need to change it. The installation will only help to prevent the sediment, not move it.

Even if you were able to get the sediment to move, in all likelihood, all you will do is prolong the inevitable by a short period of time.

it is rough..i was backed up again..didnt go for a week that added to the stress..plus the whole therapy, trying to lose weight with all these issues is rough

Take it one issue at a time. For now i think getting to the cause of the blockage is more important than therapy or trying to lose weight. You said before you are coming to the states i suggest you get in with your urologist while here before you move back there for good. That way they can come up with a good plan of care and then transfer that to your doctor in india.

nono u got it wrong..im in atlanta right noww..leaving for bombay next week

Then you need to get in with your urologist and get a cysto before you leave. They need to figure out why this is happening all the time. I would also delay your bombay trip till they can see you

So you are not from the states? That is what i got when i first responded. Either way you need to figure out why this is happening first.

You may be colonized with Proteus bacteria.Proteus produces struvite stones.Struvite stones are difficult to see on an ultrasound especially in the bladder.A CT scan is much more reliable.I speak from experience.
