    protecting scapula pressure sore

    Any suggestions on how to properly protect/cushion possible pressure sore on left scapula area. Being treated by woundcare nurse , but didn't have any suggestions on how to properly protect/cushion area while in wheel chair. I do weight shiftsbut still developed sore in this area.

    I would think this would need some input from both a PT and a retailer with expertise in higher back chairs. An open cell type pillow might help but it could also contribute to pressure elsewhere or scoliosis. Is it possible to adjust your headrest further forward at least for tilts so less not more pressure is put on the area?
