    27 years

Broke my neck 27 years ago today. What a fucked up way to go through life. Has it been worth it? No.

I am not at 27 years and still a while to go. Personally, I think 1 day of this stuff is a way to mess things up forever.

You are both correct but we have no choice and must go on.

Yes. Definitely must go on. This is tough to keep thinking that way, however, if I do, I continually make improvement. May be miniscule, but still gives me motivation.

Motivation just gets harder and harder. I'm worn down, worn out and tired.

Perhaps you can find a way to help others. Doing something like that usually helps my attitude.

My motivation is life it self. I mean what choice do you have? Give up? Die? Live life as a Quad. I have a wonderful wife, a family who love me and friends who have stayed in touch. Sure I would go back to being "normal" in a second but that's not an option. Each day I try to live better, accomplish more and wake up in good spirits. I believe you get out of this life what you put into it, if you are positive then more positive things will happen to you.

My father always said "cheer up things could be worse" "so I cheered up and things got worse" lol...

As of April I've been rollin 21 years. I work at least 40 hrs a week and go out and about on the weekends with friends to keep me busy. Yes there are times when I feel a little down but we all have those and it's how much you let yourself feel down and out that matters.

A saying that I follow is, "What you put up with is what you end up with".

Get out and do something positive and fun to make your life better.

    Good luck and best wishes!

    28 years and 1 month here. C6/7.

I work 40+ hours a week, at my own tool and die shop.

As weird as it sounds I feel that I have a better life than I was on track for pre SCI.

I've been seriously dating the most incredibly beautiful woman since January...that makes everything better.

Get out and try stuff. You never know what the outcome may be, you might just surprise yourself.
