    Disability Travel Agencies

    Anyone have experience booking travel through disability specialty travel agency? I am power chair user, 77 yeas old traveling with wife/care giver.

    Also, consider cruises. A great way to travel with minimal hassle. When my mother was alive, my parents (and later me and my parents) went on many cruises which we booked ourselves (not through a group tour) and had some wonderful trips.

    Nothing but good things to say about Flying Wheels Travel. See link above. Went on a Southeast Asia cruise and the staff was very experienced and knowledgeable.

    Here's a current travel article that includes many helpful ideas and numerous links for disabled travelers which might be helpful for CC members.
    The article is specifically about traveling with a stroke patient, but has lots of current links and info which are relevant to the needs of mobility impaired travelers.
