I never turn. I have a sleep number bed and the air in it eliminates the need. I have never had any marks and I sleep in thick flannel pj's(my husband keeps our room like a meat freezer!)

okay I was wondering if it was just me. I lay flat on my back and we have one of those cushion top mattresses. If I could lay on my stomach I would but I can't

I am 21 years post, and only turn over if I wake up. I lay on my side with my leg in a figure 4 with my knee & lower leg on a pillow in front of the straight leg, and switch which side i start out on every night.

    currently, 0-2x/night.

I get a slight redness on my heels by the morning if I'm on my back all night (8hrs), but I've never had a problem w/ it.

    mattress: lower-end simmons beautyrest.

I turn once and sleep like Donno but without the pillow and always start out on my right side.

I've been sleeping on my side with a long body pillow behind me propping me off at an angle. I use foam blocks with pillow cases wrapped around them to raise up my feet. I change sides every night.
