It's been a while since I've posted, but here's a BIG adventure worth sharing! My bf and I (both with SCIs that use wheelchairs) just returned from Ecuador in South America--right on the equator. It was our VERY first time to South America. Ecuador is one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world and it is the size of Colorado. It is not easy, to say the least, to travel to Ecuador but it is possible. Having a tour guide is highly recommended for a few reasons. Here are the reports:
