    For those that require transfer assistance, do you normally tip the airport workers helping with the transfer, and for the person who takes the chair from the gate to the baggage compartment?

    Yes, we used to tip $5-10 depending on how much help they provided us.

    Same here as KLD. At least at our home airports, the workers providing transfer assist are not employed by the airline or the airport itself. The contractor pays them near minimum wage. Tips are supposed to factor into their take home pay.

    I've tipped baggage handlers before, but had never tipped the others. But any tip that might help with better handling of me/chair is worth it I think.
