    Spinal Cord Society

I dont know if this video has been posted but here it is. The rat is apparently chronically injured. I haven't read anything about applying this procedure to cervical injuries?

Why isn't this available for humans?

The TANES treatment isn't translatable to humans yet. The video also shows the rat has been injected with OEC and received the rose Bengal scar ablation treatment. There's 3 separate treatments being utilized here and each would need to go into human trial for safety. The rat is also not up and bearing weight.

Can anyone confirm... is there a study that shows that rats are able to get ambulation back to their hind legs once their spinal cord is cut without any intervention, apart from exercise etc.
