    Event Pricing and the ADA

I go to a lot of events - concerts, sports, etc. I'm looking to go to an event at the end of the summer. On Live Nation, for regular seats there are 5 price ranges from $39 to $112. I filled out the form for an accessible ticket request. They came back to me saying the ONLY price accessible seats are in are for $112. Nothing else.

Is this legal? Does the ADA cover this type of thing? Have never seen anything like this before. Ridiculous. And they're not sold out of the other ranges, they simply don't offer any.

Maybe the other seats require stairs? Maybe accessible seating is on the floor closer to the stage and they have to use up one of the more expensive seats. We can't really expect the access at the same price if it costs them more to provide the access. Can we?

There are 2 levels of accessible seating, and a third section off to the side. They've priced them all the same.

Here is a link to ada regulations on ticketing. these regs took effect on march 15, 2011. there may be more recent changes, perhaps someone else will know.
    these are a good start:

Yup, it is not legal, just hard to enforce

I usually talk to a "manager" and ask "where are your $39 accessible seats?" Another extra thing the disabled community needs to do that AB's don't.

    It says on page 3:
Venues must offer accessible seats in all price categories available to the public.
