This is an impromptu post I felt compelled to write after much thought.
The Push Girls are nice to look at for 2.7 seconds then my mind reminds me they are tainting how tv watching society see's all other SCI women in chairs. 99.99 % of SCI women do not look like The Push girls but 99.98% are not as bi***y either. Most SCI women are real. Not saying The Push girls might not be real women but anyone spends hours painting the body to look different eavery morning does probably not have a lot of self acceptance.

As far as us guys the people who are probably rewarding THe Push girls for getting made up every morning we have to ask ourselves do we want to go after the rare pretty trophy SCI chick or get groovy with a real woman?

Agree with Zen Biker Teal from "My Gimpy Life" is a much better portrayal of a woman with SCI and SCI life in general at least from the para aspect. Push Girls is just another "reality" show spectacle.

I like the Push Girls. I don't want to watch a show full of medical challenges, catheters, BP's ect. I have learned to push my fun factor limits a little more with their influence (stairs, fashion, sports). I think they are great. My "wheelchair fashion sense" has peaked thanks to those beautiful ladies. I actually wore a dress for the first time in 19 years after watching them. We only live once.....We might as well ROCK IT to the best of our abilities.

ALL women are REAL women. nor is there anything wrong with wearing make up (ahem, teal also wears make up) nor do women spend hours every morning putting on make up.

Not sure if Cryptic''s comment was directed at me but any of my comments were trying to get at the contrast between the two extreme's.

After watching the Push girls, I went and washed my wheel chair, but no make up. When I drive my daughter some ware, see puts on a pretty good face in about 7 minuets in the truck, and I'm pretty sure it only takes her 10 minuets when she's driving.LOL
